Profile photo for attorney, Daniel P. Culpepper

Daniel Culpepper grew up in Meridian, Mississippi, and began practicing law in 2006 after earning his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College and his law degree from the University of Mississippi. In addition to being the firm’s Managing Partner, he concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation, representing employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators across Mississippi.

Daniel credits his father, a respected attorney in Meridian, with inspiring him to become a lawyer. Having been introduced to the practice of law at an early age, Daniel gained firsthand exposure to the realities of legal practice and developed a deep respect for the profession. Learning the importance of professionalism, client trust, and reputation from the outset helped shape the way he approaches both his work and his relationships with clients today.

Daniel has always been drawn to tackling challenges and helping people solve problems. Through his practice, he works with clients to address the unique issues they face every day—whether that involves a specific claim, a procedural question, or broader education designed to help them anticipate and manage future challenges. For Daniel, workers’ compensation is not repetitive work, but nuanced problem-solving where small details can significantly impact the outcome of a case.

His approach to the practice of law centers on creating value. Daniel strives to be a practical resource, whether that’s by developing clear action plans, providing training for workers’ compensation professionals, or offering targeted and practical advice to address specific challenges. He believes clients value knowing their attorney is invested in solving problems and moving matters forward, and he brings that same strategic perspective and accountability to every engagement.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time working with and watching his daughters play softball. As a former collegiate soccer (or fútbol, depending on who you ask) player, he’s rarely far from a field and is comfortable in almost any role—coach, helper, or enthusiastic spectator.
