Brian A. Hinton

Brian Hinton is a native of the Columbus, Mississippi area and he has been engaged in private law practice since 1998. His practice is a general civil defense practice primarily focused on the representation of clients in a wide range of tort claims that are covered by insurance coverages. A graduate of the Mississippi University for Women (BA, Social Science, 1995) and the University of Mississippi (JD, 1998), he has brought to ACB a wealth of trial experience in a wide range of actions including commercial trucking accidents, products liability, medical malpractice, State Tort Claims, premises liability, construction liability, Insurance bad faith, automobile accident claims, uninsured motorists claims, and mass tort claims. In addition to his litigation and trial practice, Brian is actively involved with the firm’s governmental relations section, representing clients before all levels of Municipal, County and State Government. Brian’s involvement in government consulting began in organizing and managing grassroots campaigns for Municipal and County wide candidates as well as candidates for the Mississippi Legislature, including his own campaign for the Mississippi House of Representatives in 1999. It is through those experiences that Brian has developed the necessary relationships to effectively represent private sector interests in the governmental arena.
