Mitzi L. George
Mitzi George was born in Mesa, Arizona, but is a native of Corinth, Mississippi. She was admitted to the Bar of Mississippi, United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Mississippi, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in 2007. Ms. George’s practice is focused on general civil defense, primarily the representation of clients in a wide range of tort claims that are coved by insurance agreements. She received her preparatory education at the University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf-Park (B.S. Business Management, 2002) and went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi (M.B.A. 2004) before entering law school. Ms. George completed her legal education at Mississippi College School of Law where she served as the Representative to the American Bar Association, STAR Mentor, and as a National Competitor for the Moot Court Board at the American Bar Association’s National Negotiation Competition. Ms. George is presently a member of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Hinds County Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute.
